b) Purpose of Data Processing
The personal data provided are necessary for the management of activities, communication with participants and supporters, and for providing information about organized hikes and related initiatives.
c) Processing Methods and Data Retention
Personal data are processed both electronically and manually in accordance with Article 32 of GDPR 2016/679 by authorized individuals and in compliance with Article 29 of GDPR 2016/679.
In accordance with the principles of lawfulness, purpose limitation, and data minimization set out in Article 5 of GDPR 2016/679, and upon explicit consent, personal data will be stored only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and processed. In any case, data will not be retained longer than the limits established by tax, employment, social security, and civil law regulations, and in any case for a maximum period of 10 years.
d) Data Disclosure and Distribution
We inform you that the collected data will never be publicly disclosed and will not be shared without explicit consent, except when necessary to fulfill legal obligations that may require communication with public authorities, consultants, or other entities.
Within the limits of current regulations, the data may also be accessed by employees or collaborators expressly authorized by the Data Controllers.

According to Articles 9 and 10 of GDPR 2016/679, our organization may receive data that fall into the category of “special categories of personal data.” These include data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, as well as genetic data, biometric data used to uniquely identify a person, health-related data, or data concerning a person’s sexual life or sexual orientation.
